In- direct flights question

Not sure if I'm posting this Q in the right section so oops sorry if it's wrong.
Anyway, can anyone help me?
We intend to fly Bristol to Newark and then onto MCO.
Where will we have to go through imigration proceedures?
Newark or Orlando?

I would have thought newark its your first point of entry into the US ... The first time we went we went edinburgh to amsterdam then to detroit then orlando ..we cleared everything in detroit and only had to collect baggage when we reached orlando ..was so quick but didnt enjoy all the travelling ...was a long day

When we flew Manchester-Newark-Orlando we cleared immigration in Newark. This made arrival in MCO very quick and easy.

Years back we flew Airtours to MCO via Bangor Main. We had to get off the aircraft and clear customs at bangor. This took ages to get all luggage off plane, go through customs then load loggage back on to plane - hours. Ok, it was then quick at MCO but definately not worth it IMHO. I've flown BA every time since.

Also, I didn't even realise we had to get off aircraft in Bangor so I was dressed for Florida weather. It was March and there was a LOT of snow!

It will be Newark Lin and it's a nice airport (as airports go) there is a great choice of places to eat and if you love smoothies be sure to get one from the smoothie stand (you'll see it when you are there)

When you land in Orlando you are treated as a domestic flight - you walk off the plane, onto the monorail and collect your bags
