Started off very hot last October but at the end of the holiday it turned freezing, we were there for three weeks, we all went out with jeans and hoodies on and was still cold,

We were there late october last year and only once would I have worn jeans and a warm top and that was very late at night at mnsshp. Other than that the weather was much to warm to wear jeans.

Each time we've been it's been the middle two weeks in October, never worn jeans yet, only once has it been cold enough to even need a hoody and that was later on in the evening.

Of all the times we've been in October it's only ever been cold enough to wear jeans or any other warm clothes once when the temperature really dropped for a day near the end of October

I can't imagine it would ever be cold enough to wear jeans in Florida.

Believe me - it can be! Went for a long weekend in Feb a few years ago after the WWoHP had opened at Universal. It was cold. Struggled to get over 8C in the shade each day - about 12C in the sun. Each night the resort we were staying at were putting thermal covers over the bedding plants to protect them. This was very much a "jeans and fleece" long weekend.

However, back to the OP's question. I've never been in October, but have visited regularly in the 1st 2 weeks of November & it has always been shorts and t-shirt weather in the daytime. Possibly jeans in the evening, but still with a t-shirt / polo shirt. Irrespective of when I visit Florida, I always wear jeans for the flights, as the planes can sometimes get a little cool.

We have done last week oct in 2012 and early nov past year, the only time I wished I had them on was at the party's (both mnsshp and mvmcp), we traveled in thick trackies, we wore them down to hotel breakfast once or twice (as the mornings were a little chilly) but the rest of the time we were in shorts, occasionally needed a hoody though.

In October most likley no- its still quite humid and hot, the big cool down normally starts around the second week of November and it can get cold a few weeks after that, I have been there in early December in jeans hoodie and a T shirt underneath and still found it cold, I have also been there the exact same time and its been warm enough to sunbath in the day!

Remember it can still be quite wet in October- Hurricane season does not offically end until November.

I would wear a pair of Jeans on the plane, you will probably find the next time you put them on will be on the flight home.
