I quite like the darker one ! If you are also having the same on the stairs just consider how dark your stair case is.
I too am going choosing a bedroom carpet today. I have always had the same carpet right through the house. It is a heather colour but I fancy grey carpet in the bedroom too this time.

We did the dining room in the spring. Lights not good sorry but may look better in daylight.

Mmm, picture two looks pink but it’s not!

That colour is gorgeous! I absolutely love the curtains too.
I doubt I could convince my husband to have a carpet so light though with our 3 clumsy children.

The carpet is Adams but I must caution it was £49.99 a sq metre plus £12 a sq metre for underlay

The curtains are from Curtains2Go where we get all ours from.

They do as many free samples as you want delivered the next day. Awesome company.

It looks really lovely and it looks great quality unlike some nylon cheap looking ones around (they do unmentionable things to my hirsute body ! I cant walk on cheap carpets without starting an electrical storm !)

We aren't fans of nylon so always opt for 80% wool 20% nylon.

I do agree with the OP though about Children and the unintentional mess they make.

Sad to say if we have the Grandchildren here we put a sheet under the dining room table and have slip on covers for the dining room chairs that go on as they arrive and come off when they go.

The gentleman man in the store suggested a carpet for high traffic & children. I felt it and it squeaked! Seriously 😳 it was awful so I told him that regardless of children there is no way I am having that.
So I can imagine that would cause an electric storm lol

I like the lighter one of the grey. We have a similar carpet in my sons bedroom and we find we don’t see the fluff at all. We have a beige carpet in our living room and after 3 years it’s wrecked from the kids. I would never go light carpets with kids in the house again.
