AoA Little Mermaid or Pop?

Have spent the evening researching next years options now that post September is available - hoping to book so that I have something to look forward too, a year to pay it off and I just have to keep positive!

Can’t drive so want to be on site.

Pop (Standard and not pool view) and AoA Little Mermaid are about £50 apart price wise.
Has anyone got any experience with these hotels and can recommend which way to go? In a sense they look different but similar standard. They both seem huge on the map - Little Mermaid seems a long walk but I guess so could a standard Pop room?
I’m generally a park visitor from rope drop till finish person but will also have some time for the pool to cool off and regain energy! Friend will be staying with me for part of it so need two beds. Thanks all!

We’ve stayed at Pop but not AoA. POP was fine and I believe has been recently refurbished but I think the theming of AoA is better so if there’s only £50 in it I’d go with that.

AoA and Pop are both great and it is a matter of choice around theming and room requirements that really make the difference. AoA has 2 beds (I think this is still the case) in the room, while Pop has 1 and a pull down, if there are only two people in the room Pop rooms seem larger. The pull down bed is comfy to sleep on, definitely not a sofa bed. AoA has more disney theming and if you have little ones they may well be very keen on the big blue pool and character models/pictures everywhere. You can use either food court and buses are not typically shared so that saves a lot of time. I would stay at either again but prefer the refurb rooms at Pop to the old style rooms at AoA, but these may have been updated by now.
