Recommend an Italian Restaurant Please

Can you please recommend a good Italian restaurant on Idrive please ? Last year we went to one (can't remember the name of it) but it was very fancy and while we enjoy fancy we are looking for something more relaxed. Not where there is white table cloths, wiping the table while you are still eating and everyone practially in suits. Also one with a good menu with a good few Italian options. A few others that we looked at their menu mainly had steaks and pizza, we are big pasta lovers.

Hi

We've enjoyed our meals in the Olive Garden; not fancy but food and service has been good and no need to dress up!

Maggiano's and Carrabbas are other possibilities - we haven't been to either as yet but have seen some good reviews on here.

Wherever you decide on, hope you have a great time!

Kev

We have just come back (I did a food report on the restaurants we went to that were mostly on I-drive) and we really enjoyed Olive Garden. There is loads of choice and we all had a brilliant meal. It does get busy though so I would suggest making a booking if there more than 2 of you.

We didn't enjoy Olive Garden but have in the past enjoyed Macaroni Grill.

Whilst I have been a very regular visitor to the Olive Garden in the past, I have had two poor meals on the trot that were unanimously rated as poor. We now avoid it and use Maggianos.

It is rather strange as we remain very much into the other Darden’s restaurants, namely Yardhouse (our favourite of all), Longhorn and Bahama Breeze. Perhaps we simply got unlucky.. twice.

Maggianos. Olive Garden is cheap and cheerful but definitely not authentic Italian.
