Received an email yesterday cancelling our flight only Gatwick to MCO on 7th November.
Rang them up, got through within 20 minutes and refund being arranged. BA really have been superb throughout this Covid lark. 3 holidays booked this year with them (2 packages and 1 flight only) and each one cancelled and refunded without any fuss and drama.

Top service BA!

The 27th Dec is a Sunday so that ties in with what stanleycamel posted yesterday about BA only using LGW on Sat/Mon/Wed subject to US/UK restrictions of course.

Won't it be great to not have to think about UK/USA restrictions - wakes up from Daydreaming...

Perhaps it may be worth phoning BA and asking what your options might be at the moment.

When I contacted BA about paying my balance they said wait til the day balance was due ( 3 weeks to departure day) and if the restrictions were still in place and they would refund me.
Expecting the refund this week ( they said it would be within 10 working days)

Booked LHR-MCO on 6/12/2020. Not cancelled but an email today offering me a chance to rebook with no fees or take a voucher. Was with BA holidays so happy to do this, easily done on line. Will probably book a NYC short break when things lighten up.
