Slowcooker recipes?
As the dark nights are drawing in I've got the slow cooker out, bought it last year but haven't used it yet Has anyone got any good slow cooker recipes, preferably ones that are easy to prepare that I can just throw everything in the slow cooker for 7-8 hours while I'm at work?
Cheers

I did beef stew today, you could do chicken soup, I also do a joint of gammon, I put brown sugar on it cook for 8 hrs then add honey for 30 mins and it's done, tastes like an American turkey leg and it is divine

Get a good slow cooker recipe book they are pretty widely available and invaluable, alternatively as you say just throw everthing in but halve the amout of liquid you usually add to any casserole (as it makes a lot of liquid with the lid on all day) and do not be tempted to keep peeking to see whats happening. If the sauce/gravy is too thin for you when you dish up just add some gravy granules (or cornflour) to thicken - simples
