Rivers of Light, Primeval Whirl & stitch’s Great Escape confirmed closing

Just seen that all 3 are confirmed closing for good. Shocked about River of Light. Stitch hasn’t been open for ages and Primeval Whirl only seasonal.

Can’t say I’m surprised about Stitch (it was long overdue) and the last twice I’ve been to WDW last year and 3 ago Primeval Whirl was closed or not working so not a surprise either.
Rivers of Light is a surprise as it’s fairly new but in saying that I’ve seen it twice and it’s not one I would say is a must do on each trip. Was nice enough once but nothing spectacular. Hopefully it’s replaced with a new show though and not just scrapped altogether.

Stitch was terrible hopefully this means the Wreck IT Ralph attraction is coming.
Prime was also terrible did not belong in a Disney park. Maybe a Dino Land refurb is in the works as well. It is the worst themed land at WDW.

I am glad ROL is gone simply the worst Disney show that I have ever seen.
Hopefully they will come up with something better than 20 mins of squirting flowers.
I won't miss any of these attractions.

Yep, I’m not surprised about ROL - we did it once & we were bored rigid all the way thru - & as for Prime, I’m secretly loving this bit of news As my son always makes me go on it with him as he knows I’ll be screaming all the way round ! 😂😂 I feel so sick when I get off that thing !

I’m such a wimp, I really shouldn’t complain though as DH does all the rollercoasters with DS, while I people watch, I just have to do the more low key ones with him !

I wouldn’t expect anything to be replaced for some time? I wish they would but they are cutting all park investment to the bone.

Costcutting! Spaceship Earth is no longer being refurbished and The Mary Poppins experience has been cancelled as well.

Shame about Rivers of Light, I love it, partly because I don't like fireworks and it's the only evening show that doesn't have them.

I like Primeval Whirl but it wasn't particularly popular. Two cast members had also died in accidents working on the attraction over the years so they probably figure it's better off gone.
