last visit was in July 2015 so might have changed since then, but heavy crowds - fast passes essential. but the only times we have gone is during the summer school holidays so cannot compare to anything else - for us Disney = crowds !
oh and also expect THUNDERSTORMS !

We go last week in June, first week in July.
It's hot, busy and wet but we love it. Rain can be a pain but it normally doesn't start until late afternoon/early evening. You'll be looking at temps in the 100s most days. Parks (pre-covid) were busy. Lots of school trips at this time of year. We use the busy day guide though and have never had any problems. Suspect things may be different going forward. At least for 2021. If you enjoy heat and don't mind the odd rainy day then go for it. We've found the earlier in June and later in July it tends to be wetter so right in the middle has been good for us so far. |

Been middle 2 two weeks of July a few times, avoid the 4th for obvious reasons. We've been pretty lucky with the weather, yes it's HOT but not had that many thunderstorms. Maybe 5 or 6 in the 3 times we've gone that time of year. One of them was epic!
Parks were busy but as we're DVC members we always stay on site and make use of the early EMH and fastpasses. We're usually out of the parks by 1-2pm at the absolute latest every day. If you plan it's certainly manageable. There are the south american school tour groups that time of year but we have never found them too bad. |

Have done at least 10 trips in July, it’s hot, it can be busy but an early start & you can get a much quieter park & lots done, (we found July 19 not as busy as previous years) thunderstorms, lovely sunsets & sunrises,
Done 4th July as well, did MK on the 3rd, then Epcot on the 4th & crowds very manageable. Usually decent sales in the malls Plus it’s ace fun!

Hot and busy. We only ever went once in early July. Lots of groups of kids from the South American countries especially Brazil who unfortunately tend to leave their manners at home.

As others have said - hot, hot, hot! We’ve enjoyed July trips but now we have a bit more flexibility we favour pretty much any other time of year.

If you're doing July because of school holidays, then mid-August is a much better time to go. The heat is the same but the crowds start to die down from around the 9th/10th.

I’m planning for a late July trip. Expecting it to be busy but with planning not expecting too many issues. Been at Disney during Memorial Weekend for Pandora’s opening and it was fine. Who knows how things are going to be from now. It’s a different world.
