Secondary or primary?

I havenít heard anything from my boys school and thatís secondary.

I work in a primary school and school dinners were offered before the summer holidays (albeit the arrangement for receiving them was different to the norm) and presume it will be the same when we return.

I think DD school they need to take their own pack lunch(unless of course they have free meals). They will be eating it in their calssroom/bubble.

My daughter is in high school. We have been told there will be no canteen facilities or vending machines. They have to take a packed lunch each day and take bottled water. They will eat in the classroom in their bubble.
.
The children who are entitled to free school meals will be provided with a grab bag lunch. I am surprised school are doing this, other children cannot buy a grab bag and I thought highlighting to all the other pupils who was in receipt of a free school lunch was a thing of the past.

DS in primary can take a packed lunch or have a hot dinner but both will be eaten in the classroom. They will have 1 midday allocated to each room.
DS in secondary can order at Tutor time (first thing in the morning) any hot food from a limited menu or take packed lunch.

My daughter has to take a packed lunch or if they want food they have to preorder and it will be taken to the wing that they're in. I don't know what food will be available.

Thanks... still a bit up in the air, as with the universal free school meals they are entitled to a free lunch, so will be interesting to see what schools do about this

My primary is packed lunches in classes as we canít seat 700 kids in enough sittings in the dinner hall. Fsm kids will be offered a cold lunch in class from kitchen .
My secondary aged daughter has been told similar, packed lunch and no canteen.
