Gardeners help!
We have just cut back some very large overgrown mature bushes as they were taking up so much room and the borders were very deep. We are now going to edge new borders around the whole garden. Due to the cut back we now have lots of room for some new shrubs/plants but I have no idea what to plant. I’m looking for a bit of colour and some ground covering plants. We also have a dog so needs to be dog friendly (non poisonous). If there any Essex dibbers, do you know of any good plant nurseries? Many thanks!

Perrywoods near Tiptree are very good for shrubs.
