Whole school year in isolation already.

One of our local high schools have had to isolate all year 8 pupils after a positive covid test.
They only went back last Wednesday 😫😫
Each school year is a bubble so its not just one class unfortunately.

Our school is ready for this now as everything has gone on line so lessons just carry on at home. Sounds simple enough now that everyone has had a crash course in home working.

School a few miles away has had to get nearly 100 children to isolate as 5 teachers tested positive!

Ridiculous, it should only be those who had close contact Same as track and trace in any other environment! thereís no way the whole year would have had close enough contact whether it was a teacher or another child.

That school will have to re look at that policy!

Yeah itís not far. Apparently the pupil went back on Friday and tested positive on Sunday. Hopefully no other cases come from it.

Lets hope so 🤞🏻
I hope the track and trace works and they can find where the pupil caught it etc

I wonder just how many of those families will ignore that.

Seems an overreaction to me.
