Hi lady I'm getting married in 2014 and am still trying to lose my baby weight 19 months on! I have started the weight watchers and have lost a stone in 3 weeks I would really like to lose another 2 and a half, that's why I'm starting now! Just popped on as my parents and sister and niece and having their first trip to WDW this year and I'm trying to organise a photopass share for them ... although explaining the concept will be very very difficult!

Im just beginning to plan my wedding for 2014, my weight has been going up and up and up for about 6 years and would love some motivation and support to gain control before i get married, any room for little (or not so little) one?

My wedding is now less than 6 months away and although we aren't getting married at Disney but are having our Disneymoon for 2 weeks at Port Orleans French Quarter.

I was wondering if I can join in, despite not being a bride, I'm the groom and want to lose some of my middle age spread.

I just realised there were some posts on here!

I was one of the 'originals' on this thread and I'm coming up to my 3rd year of marriage now! This shows how long ago the thread started!

Sadly, well, not sadly but you know what i mean - most people from this thread are married now and in fact by the end of October there's something like 13 Dibb brides from this group that will now be married and we have at least 2 babies now in the group so time has just moved on for the main people on it.

The thing is though, you new brides and grooms should perhaps create your own group? I speak from experience when I say it's incredibly helpful and supportive - and much easier - to be in a diet journey as a group, especially a group with the same goals and reasons for losing weight. At the last count we'd lost over 30 stone as a group and it would be great for you guys to be the 'next gen' of Dibb bride/group dieters and carry on the torch!
