Mobile Car parking Gatwick

So just jumped on to my Gatwick to see what the current charges are for parking next August. We like to keep our keys so not valet.

Anyway we are BA so South terminal. 137 quid for 2 weeks. Steep. I know it will probably change tho.

So I put in north terminal just for comparison... summer special at 50 or long stay 91.

Why the difference?

And has anyone parked in the parking for one terminal and went to the other terminal using the monorail shuttle? Any problems?

Thank you!

You can park at either terminal.. so book whatever is easiest for yourself I guess. Absolutely no issues getting from one terminal to the other using the monorail etc.

I have no idea what the summer special is or price difference, but long stay north is spot on, you keep your keys and it's a short bus journey from the terminal.

Its to incentivise people to use the underutilized parking.

As previous poster said, its only a mild hassle to jump on the inter-terminal transport

Gatwick is one of those airports where it is utterly irrelevant as to whether you are departing from N or S, and imho that is a very good thing.
The time spent to get to, embark on and get off the N to S monorail is so short, that it beats most travellators that take people to Aircraft gates. It really is a great system.

Due to this, I only ever stay at North Premier Inns (either one), whether flying from N or S. even when I arrive by train at South, I use the North Hotels. As regards parking , again, always North side, long stay as the deals always seem better.
