Ours would probably be " Beautful [christmas version]" sung by Jim Brickman. The lyrics are lovely and even mention Cinderella so have a disney twist

That has been our song for a while now, for various reasons

We were married in 1992 and the song we had our first dance to was "When I Fall In Love" by Nat King Cole. Unfortunately though Rick Astley had released an appalling cover of it earlier in the year and I remember I was on tenterhooks hoping the DJ would not play this version instead.

On our video the song was "Never Tear Us Apart" by INXS. We used to listen to the Kick CD constantly. x

am loving this thread! i need ideas too as our song is blu cantrell and sean paul - breathe (don't ask!) and i'm not about to have that as my first dance!

We're also having a wedding dvd so trying to compile a track list for that - looking for songs a bit different as well as the well known romantic ones!

I want finding beauty by craig Armstrong on the DVD - absolutely beautiful, quite dramtic piece of music and Dream by Prisicilla Ahn (in one of the finale shows of greys anatomy)

we did want Jason mraz as out first dance but then we went ot colleagues wedding and they had it so we've changed our mind now - let the search continue

The Killers - "Alright" is hauntingly beautiful (here)- one of my favourite songs in the world and one we have considered for our glasto wedding playlist (15 year wedding anniversary so are 're-marrying'... we have some friends playing there and are going to have a little acoustic set, up at the stone circle), we also have the muse cover above on the list, hoobastanks 'the reason' here is also another, snow patrols 'Run' here, Oasis 'Let there Love' here , green day - 'time of your life' here - and just for fun transvision vamps 'I want your love' here !

God I could go on all night!

Thanks Jo, there's some great suggestions there.
Oasis are our favourite band, we've been to see them more times than I can remember so it would be quite fitting to have one of their's for our song.
