I prefer the first one - bit biased though as I used those vases for my wedding!

I prefer smaller centrepieces just so its easier for people to to talk at the tables. You could also have them trasnferered to your dessert party and a glow cube added in the vase. We did this - allowed us to use them twice and was much cheaper than paying for two lots of decor.

The first one looks a lot lower than the 2nd, when you look at the size of the tealights next to it. There's no way that will be at eye level (unless you are really teeny lol!)

The 2nd looks a lot taller and could well be at eye level.

I'd go for the 1 st, not just because of the cost, they are both lovely, but the 2nd one I think would be a distraction for the guests trying to talk to each other - right in their sight lines!

I voted for the first one. As others have said, your guests would be able to see over it to talk. I also think it looks more modern than the second.

The 2nd is great but the vase would need to be a minumum 40cm high to avoid getting in the way of guests talking over the table or looking at you guys! The first one is lovely but what would really make it stand out is to pop it on a table mirror round or square would work, the other option depending on how many tables you have would be to alternate the two to create a more dimensional look, good luck!

I prefer the first one Hayley, the second one I think is too tall and a bit "wishy washy"for my taste lol.
