So excited - We're booked!

So, yesterday we booked out FIRST trip to DLP and we can't wait.

We are going on the 23rd of July (my youngest daughters 5th birthday), travelling down to the Ferry at Dover. We are staying at the Davy Crockett Ranch, and I have heard so many good things for here.
We have a Character Breakfast booked for the 25th July.
We are coming home on the 27th

I am thinking of booking the Princess makeover for them too. Think they will like that.

The kids are so excited, we gave them letters (like the advert) to tell them, and they was screaming and jumping around all over the house. That in itself was so exciting, can't wait to see what they are like when they actually get there!

I am making a count down calendar now so they can cross off the days till we go!

It's all very exciting!

Sooooo exciting. We are there at the same time! We arrive 22nd and leave 27th not boooked hotel yet but I think we are going for Santa Fe.
I've never been in peak season before but we are tied to school holidays now so I have been reading up on here as people are advising whats best (there is a thread about July on here somewhere) in terms of best use of EMH & FP etc and the heat.
Make sure your DD gets a birthday badge as we did that when we went for my DD's 5th birthday and all the characters and cast members were paying her extra attention. Never done a breakfast before but we did afternoon tea in Plaza Gardens and Alix got a birthday present from Eeyore it was amazing.
We haven't told the kids yet - its KILLING ME! I spilled all the last time we went to DLP & WDW but my OH wants to keep it a suprise as DD2 never been so we are not telling them until July

How can I keep quiet!

Aw, Im so excited for you. The girls will love it. Do a vacation plan now and print off park maps for you all to study and the girls to look at.

I've had a look at the planning bit for DLP, but there is not much on there. You might have to show me when I see you.
DD1 has done a powerpoint all about DLP, she is so excited!
