4 parks - One Day...how best to attack it?

Right folks, we want to set ourselves up for this ... 4 parks in one day

We will have a car so whats the best way to approach this please?... guessing AK first for rope drop, then we were thinking drive to Epcot and get the boat to HS... then boat back to Epcot, do Epcot and get the Monorail to MK...?...then back to Epcot for the car at night..?

Also, what are the unofficial rules for each park...a ride and a character meet and a snack?

TIA

We are doing it based on what has early morning hours ( booked campsite for emh ) and the park that is closed last.
You choose your own rules ours are an iconic photo in each park ( ie Main Street, tree of life ) , pressed penny , ride , maybe a snack but not sure as not decided where to eat yet for dinner.

We did this last year. Our rules were photo in each park in front of the 'landmark', ride snack and we also had to use a different mode f transport between each park.

Drove to MK and parked the car there took the monorail to Epcot, boat from Epcot to HS and disney bus from HS to AK once we finished took the bus back to MK and collected the car. We started at MK at rope drop and were finished for 3.30pm ish. I got us all 4 park challenge badges made, all the family loved it, great fun

we did this last year

we were staying onsite at polynesian, and used Disney transportation
buses run between parks, it's way more efficient and fast than having to go back to the car, drive to another park, park there always farther away fromthe entrance as the day goes by, then rinse and repeat 3 times ...

Before I start, I need to say that I have DAS, it does make me a little slower than your average guest, but that was a great help as far as "fastpasses" went, because it allowed us to have return times for rides that were out of FP+ for the day ... but it comes to a daily cost ... and I don't mean money ... enough said)

so here's how we did it

Took the bus to Animal kingdom for 8am EMH

Navi River journey SB
Kilimandjaro safari FP
Expédition Everest ( X2 ) FP & SB
Flight of passage FP

Took the bus to EPCOT around noon

Soarin ( 4th FP)
Test track (DAS taken before going to Soarin')

we ate around the world at Flower and Garden Festival booths along WS

Took the boat at International Gateway to go to Hollywood Studios

Only rode Rock'n'roller coaster (Single Riders)

Took the bus to Polynesian, as due to disability I had to take a break

Spent that break at the pool and spa.

Took the monorail to MK in the evening

we rode
Big thunder mountain (got a FP while still at DHS)
splash mountain (DAS)
Tomorrowland speedway (DAS)
Buzz lightyear (instant entry by the CM when I requested DAS return)

we called it a day at 10pm even though MK was on EEH

that was a fun day. We had set a list of rides we wanted to ride, places we wanted to see. And we know from the start that a 4 parks challenge meant, for some parks, to enter them, get a quick ride and picture, and get out. That's when you need to set priorities

the "easiest way " is to select a day when there are EMH and EEH at 2 different parks, like we did. Maximising park time re:operating hours.

Thanks all...appreciate it
We will try and work it around only driving to AK...then onto another and use Disney transport, so we can have the car at the final point
Going to do a couple of rides and a snack / photo in each park..!

We are planning this for this year. Plan so far is, atleast 1 ride, 1 photo and 1 snack in each park plus all available forms of Disney transport.

Staying at AKL
Bus to Animal Kingdom for EMH
Bus from AK to Caribbean Beach, Skyliner (if it's open) to Hollywood studios. (otherwise we will have to go back to AKL and get bus direct to HS).
Fast passes booked for Hollywood Studios.
Friendship boat to Epcot.
Monorail to Magic Kingdom, Ferry from TTC if time, and back to AKL via resort bus for dinner reservation at Sanaa and some much needed rest!

My boys have even picked what snack they want in each park!

We did this 15 years ago, it was a mad crazy day, not sure where we started but ended at magic kingdom, doing it again in October, we are having to work round MNSSHP and EMH all over the place and Hollywood studios being hammered, we are planning on starting in Hollywood studios and finishing in Animal Kingdom. Rules include, two rides, or a ride and a show, character meet gives extra bonus points, picture with a park landmark and one snack or meal. I am really looking forward to it but my joints are 15 years older and they remind me every day. Hope everyone doing it has fun.

We've done it a couple of times.
First time we did AK - bus - HS - boat - EPCOT - monorail - MK.
We left MK to last primarily for night time entertainment and also greater 4+FP availability.
This was pre-Pandora / Rivers of Light so AK rarely had evening hours.

Second time round last year we did
MK - Monorail - Epcot - Boat - HS - Bus - AK
We managed at least one headliner in each park and were attempting to meet Mickey in each park.

Magic Kingdom was first as it had EMH on that day.

- MK Rope drop 7DMT
- MK BTMR
- MK Dole Whip for breakfast and met a Country Bear
- MK Met Town Sq Mickey
- Monorail to EP
- EP Single Rider Test Track
- EP Met Character Spot Mickey
- EP 3 Caballeros
- EP Lunch Food and Wine
- Boat to HS
- HS Beauty and Beast
- HS Obligatory visit to Baseline Taphouse
- HS FAIL - nobody could face a 45 min queue to meet Mickey
- Bus to AK
- AK Dinner Rainforest Cafe (Landry Card Walk up)
- AK Met Mickey and Minnie (FP)
- AK Dinosaur (FP)
- AK Flight of Passage (FP)
- AK Celebratory cocktail from Pongu Pongu

That looks a lot when it's all written down but it was actually relatively relaxed and slow paced. It was a low crowd day so that helped with standby queues.
All in all a tiring day but fun, memorable and we'll do it again.

We are staying off site and my daughter informs me that we will be parking at Animal kingdom (but not going in), getting the bus to Hollywood studio's, boat to epcot, monorail to magic kingdom then bus back to finish at Animal kingdom. I am putting my life and trust in her planning and anticipate another mad crazy day.
