I'm thinking of surprising my mum with tickets to see BMG on one of our days at Universal - does anyone who has seen it recommend?

I've heard good things but always on the lookout for honest reviews.

Also can i buy tickets from a travel agent or only via Universal?

We really enjoyed it two years ago so have bought tickets again for this year. Thoroughly recommend, so much better than we thought it would be.

I bought the tickets through Orlando Attractions. Much cheaper and you just contact the box office to book your seats. As soon as the tickets arrived we phoned and stated which seats we wanted, front row of tier 1 that would have been over $70 a seat and we paid £39 for adults and £26 for dd. Very pleased with the service and price.

We went a couple of years ago and loved it. I ant keen- never fancied it but son wanted to go so we did. Thought it was great. A bit unusual but very entertaining. Not sure where we got our tickets though.

It's amazing! I can't describe it as they are unique - music, comedy, magic, technology, paint ... we went 5 years ago and have booked for our last night this time. Have a look on You Tube to see if you think it's your Mum's thing. I'd recommend Drumbone and Twinkies to get an idea 😀.

I book through Attraction Tickets Direct over the phone - they can then help you pick your seats; we have been almost at the front both times although away from the "splash zone" 😂

Wow that's a really good price! Will definitely be booking through another agent with savings like that

Tim tracker has just done a date night video at Blue man group. It shows the seating and backstage.

I've posted on here before about BMG and I know I'm in the minority, but I hated it as did my DH and my youngest DD. My oldest DD thought it was one of the best shows ever. I didn't find it remotely funny, to me it was just puerile rubbish, although I would add that the show has changed since I saw it, but I feel that strongly about it I would never go back.

Saw it in 2014 and was not really sure what to expect, in the end I thought it was brilliant. One of the highlights of the trip.

I think the girls are going to be a bit too young still next year (6.5 and 4) or it would be on the plan for a repeat.
