Hey fellow Dibbers

So I finally popped the question to Jen. After years of waiting (Literally years) I had booked the Glass Slipper Engagement package and on our first day at Disney I asked Jen to marry me

Take a look at my video:


I was ridiculously nervous. There were many reasons for this. I had this fear that Disney would forget about my booking.

When we checked in, there was no secret handshake or special nod. I just had to have complete faith that Disney would help me pull this off and OMG did they help me archive this

Jen genuinely had no idea I was going to propose today. She knew it was coming (We have been together for 13 years now, 2nd house together etc.) but she was probably expecting it later on in the holiday, not on the first day, especially not first thing in the morning at breakfast

So unbeknown to Jen, our amazing waitress brings over this plate and puts it in front of Jen.

Just as Jen lifts the lid, I swoop around the table, onto one knee, ring at the ready. I could already hear the other guests clapping in the background. By this point Jens already in tears holding her hand out to allow me to finally place the ring on, not before I ask the question I have been waiting years to ask

"Jen, its been over 12 years, but I've wanted to marry you ever since I first laid my eyes on you, will you marry me".

Jen says "Yes" and the place erupts with cheers, clapping & congratulations In this moment I have never felt so happy but with a huge sense of relief.
