Sporty days for 17 year old
Hi, so we travel mid June for 2 weeks. Our 17yo ds is happy to go visit some attractions himself. Hi is going to the nBA experience at Disney. Are there any sport games, stadiums or shows he or he abd his dad could go see? Thanks

My 13 year old daughter went to the NBA Experience today for the first time. She loved it and wanted an annual pass (they don't have them). She said it was definitely best to get there when they open at 12 as there were no queues.
We have recently been to a Magic basketball game and a Solar Bears ice hockey game at the Amway Center. They are great fun even if you don't know the sports but I am sure both seasons are over by June though. The only other big local team I can think of is Orlando Pride soccer but am not sure when their season is.

Hi have a look at espn wide world of sports, there are various sports on in June including national championships. Your Disney park tickets get you in. In the past we have watched basketball, baseball, track, wrestling all at various age groups and the standard in some of these have been fantastic

Does you son golf? Play tennis? Loads of gold courses (both at Disney and in the area.)
There was also a tennis training camp on 192 when my son was that age and he loved lessons there. I think they may have also had a golf lesson or sorts. |
