Does anyone else lose things?

I have put away a Christmas card I need to send to Canada and my dds Christmas card plus my sisters birthday card and can’t find them! One year I lost a top for dd that I bought her for Christmas. I shove everything in the wardrobe and then can’t find them. i think I’m losing it! (Excuse the pun)

LOL - i do this all the time! Then find it again way after event! Sooo frustrating!

Yep, I brought 2 decorations back from our summer holiday in San Francisco and Disneyland and can’t find them. I know they’re in the loft so I’m hoping they’re with the presents and I’ll find them when I start the wrapping. 😳😂

One year I found some presents I had hid in the pantry the following August, left them for the next Christmas and forgot about them again 😂😂 Took then to the charity shop instead

Yes, a couple of years ago I went to put out all the kids stockings on Christmas Eve, obviously making sure main presents were at the top. This particular year I could not find a tablet we had got youngest DD (even though I remembered wrapping it)... searched everywhere upstairs where I’d been wrapping with a torch (trying to be quiet to not wake kids). I panicked at the thought of youngest DD not having a ‘main’ present when the 3 others did. In the end I grabbed the present my mum had bought her from under the tree & took label off (knowing my mum wouldn’t mind). Lo and behold the next morning she opened the doll & accessories (delighted)... and about 3 presents later screamed “I’ve got a tablet as well!” I think I’d got confused with the shape of the box it was in when wrapped & had thought it was a set of books or something! Obviously this then meant she didn’t have anything under the tree from my mum (who was staying with us that Christmas), but we just told her that Father Christmas was so busy he must’ve got in a big muddle, luckily DD found it really funny! I was just relieved we hadn’t lost a tablet!

Yes. Everyone in my family laughs when I say I have put something in a safe place because it will never be seen again. So much so that when they bury me my plaque is going to say 'We put her in a safe place'.

The t shirt I lost of my daughters never was found, I sent some stuff back so must of sent it back by mistake. I got her to try it on as well so she knew she was getting it and then didn’t!
