What time are you expecting to wake up/be woken up tomorrow?

My husband says if it’s after 7:30 it’s a good result (on a normal day I wouldn’t wake up until 9:30/10am if I didn’t have an alarm set ). We have no kids, I just love Christmas Day.

My daughter is usally so wound up the last few days before Christmas and waking early, that by Christmas day we usually end up waking her! But she is ill atm with tonsillitis so expect a disturbed night I usually put her stocking in her room when I go to bed but she been waking up at around 1am for medicine , so not sure what to do, cos if she sees the stocking she wont go back to sleep lol

DH says 0930 to 1000. If we leave DS 1&2 it would be after 12 for them. I wake up earlier than everyone regardless. (I went out and collected our fresh bread and did lots of other jobs before I saw anyone today) If they are lucky about 0830. Depends when I get lonely and bored.

I’ll be up at 7.30. Have to take the turkey out of the fridge and get other bits sorted. DH will get up with me.
DS is nearly 16 and probably won’t make an appearance until 10 or later.

DH is getting up at 5am to put a joint of beef in the slow cooker but I'm hoping the rest of us manage to last till 9!

Last year we were awake at 7 and the kids were made to get up at 10:30. I expect the same this year . Cherish the 6am starts ❤️

I've been awake since 4am my brain might know its xmas but my bodyclock still thinks its a normal day

The boys are still out for the count and if its anything like normal holiday days the earliest I'll see them is about 10.30 even the youngest Morning people they are not and even when they were really little they rarely woke before 9am xmas day -
