Carnival shares
If anyone likes their cruising Carnival shares have dropped like a stone today.
If you hold 100 shares you will get extra obc - about £70 for 7 nights and £150 for 14 nights. Plus quarterly dividend if there is any! We've just bought some 😁 Edited at 02:09 PM. |

I keep looking at it but I don’t understand shares at all
How much would it be to buy 100 shares so that I get onboard credit? |

It was about £2300.
You have to open an account with your broker, transfer the cash and then you just press the button at the price you want to pay. We used Hargreaves Landsdown as I'd seen them recommended but there are lots of companies you can use. DH did it all. The receipt was instant. |

It might not seem much obc but we think it's a better return than you'd get at the bank!

Best investment we ever did back in 2011, £19 a share. We’ve had far more in obc than we paid for them plus a quarterly dividend of around £36 - but that might be in doubt if share price continues to tumble. Obc benefits carnivalcorp/static-...c-684647e6129f
Edit - don’t worry about the dates on the benefits sheet it’s just that they renew it on an annual basis at the AGM. Edited at 04:17 PM. |

I was tempted until I saw that it doesn’t apply to travel agent rate bookings which is what I get.

Haven’t got a spare £2300 unfortunately
Will just have to stick to the shares we get from work. Sounds very complicated for me |

I wouldn't buy now. They have a lot further to fall yet.
