Ventura and the Med or Oceana and the Canaries?
We were due to sail on the Azura this summer and are looking at our transfer options for 2021. There are 7 of us: me, DH, 3 boys (who’ll be 17, 14 and 11 - not really into the kids’ club thing), FiL (74) and my aunt (87, but amazingly fit). We’ve sailed on the Ventura before and liked it but only as a group of 4 adults. We’ve got the option of Oceana and 12 nights in the Canaries or the Med for 14 nights in Ventura. Given the choice, which would you go for and why?

We were supposed to be on ventura in canaries right now 😩
I’ve only ever been on azura so can’t compare any of the ships. I tend to base mine on price and where I want to go. We want to see Tenerife. So it was canaries for us but if a very good deal comes out then I’d do med again. Loved Gibraltar. Do hope we can get to do all these lovely things next year. |

I prefer the canaries itinerary to the Med, weve done both and to be honest a little bored of the Med itineraries now. Which I realise makes me sound super spoilt! We like the weather and beaches in the canaries and you usually get some nice ports like Madeira thrown in.
Ship wise I'd prefer Ventura but its nice to do a ship you havent been on before |

It would have to be the Med cruise for us. Much more interesting than the Canaries.

Interestingly I’m not interested in canaries itineraries at all. I think the med has more varied ports
