On the plus side, I did get some icing sugar, (its like gold dust here in shops at the moment) its DH birthday saturday and he wants a home made cake.

We had struggled to get compost too until we visited B&M Bargains. They had loads there.

Plants look beautiful though. Hope your DH has a lovely birthday on the weekend and your cake goes well. Can’t wait to see a photo of the cake 😀

Update on my seeds. Sunflower, lettuce, kale, spinach, spring onions all growing well.

And my radish should be big enough to eat this weekend

Our dog Walter finally had a professional hair cut when the groomer reopened on Monday.
I’d bought a grooming kit and we did our best with him but it wasn’t great.

Before

After

She had to cut it quite short to get it even and he had a huge knot in his tail so she taken quite a lot off that which he wasn’t happy with as he doesn’t like his tail being brushed.

He’s gorgeous 💕 Must be much cooler and more comfortable for him too
