How to make a Disney Dole Whip at home

Do you love a Dole Whip to help cool you down when you are exploring the Disney parks?

Here is a recipe released by Disney so you can make your own Dole Whips in your very own kitchen.

Ingredients:

• 4 ounces pineapple juice
• 2 cups frozen pineapple cubes
• 1 large scoop vanilla ice cream

3 Easy Steps

• add the pineapple juice, frozen pineapple and ice cream to a blender and blend until smooth.
• add the contents of the blender to a piping bag and squeeze into a serving bowl.
• grab a spoon and enjoy.

Try also to adapt the recipe and create your own Dole Whip flavours!

Anyone know how many this makes?

I have all the ingredients now... but if that makes one, it’s an awful lot of pineapple!

Well...I can report that they were very nice. Served in our Disney resort mugs. Probably play around with quantities next time but they were very Doll Whip like! And we watched Tim and Jen Tracker at Castaway Key whilst we ate them. 😀

Sounds good, so how many servings did you make ?

X4 the ingredients so 4 servings. I used two tins of pineapples which was about 4 cups (drained and froze them for the afternoon). Thought 4 tins would be overdoing it.

Probably added a bit too much pineapple juice (500 mls) which made it a bit softer than it should have been. Tasted excellent though! 👍

Thanks Stu for posting, we made our dole whips this evening and they were lovely.

I don’t have a piping bag but that didn’t matter, they still tasted great.

We made it the other day but the blender struggled with the pineapple. I think the chunks were too big. I ended up adding more juice so it ended up too runny but it tasted amazing!

Mine was ok but def needs more pineapple and less ice cream
