I’m in 2 minds whether to watch. It’s one I’ve wanted to see in the theatre for ages now and had planned to book tickets for my mums 70th in May. Unsure if I want it to be a surprise show when we *eventually* see it or not.

The music is wonderful. It’s the 25th anniversary performance so likely to be different from the usual one . |

I think it is Love Never Dies
Which is the sequel that ALW did. My mum and dad saw it and did not think it was in any way comparable to Phantom but I haven't seen it (There is another thread in General Chat ) I will give it a go this week though . |

We watched Phantom on Friday and had a G&T and a small tub of ice cream in 'the interval'
 . Its one of our favourites, we've seen it in the theatre 4-5 times - first time with Michael Crawford. We really enjoyed this one (despite the chandelier not falling down :-) ). We weren't keen on Love Never Dies so will give it a miss this week.

Paint Never Dries - saw it in the theatre. This version fixes some of the mistakes, but still I can’t live with the changes to the characters.
Cats is superb, way better than the film.
