There was a giant box of “snackables” you know the biscuit cheese and ham thing kids can have. This was for Walmart. My kids loved these and they were easy food.
We didn’t have very many meals in and the ones we did were a bit disastrous (hubby putting dinner out on the dining set that was already on the table when we arrived. Thick layer of dust &#129314
I like eating at restaurants best. I will probably be having more stuff in the villa when we go back, whenever that may be.

We had jacket potatoes, salad, beans sometimes just simple home comfort food, much needed to break up the constant indulging!

We often cook a huge chilli and freeze some of it to have another day with Texas Toast garlic bread. We eat Publix chicken with homestyle red potato salad. We buy the cinnamon rolls you cook yourself sometimes for breakfast. Lots of ham rolls with crisps for lunches and even a bacon sarnie!

Where the villa has a waffle maker, we buy Bisquik and have waffles for breakfast with maple syrup. Tend to order Papa Johns pizza for delivery, and also get take out from Panda Express (family feast for us!). If cooking, we’ll get steak or burgers and have with chips and salad. The fried chicken from Publix is fab as well. I sometimes buy a frozen lasagne or chicken tenders for something quick.

We tend to have breakfast in the villa, and then alternate either lunch or dinner out (depending on where we are), to try and keep costs down.

Been to the same villa in Highgate Park for about last twelve visits (should have been 13 )

I know that big white thing in the kitchen keeps drinks cold. I also know the white one with the drop down door washes up the accumulated coffee cups.

But I keep meaning to ask the owner what the other white thing is that gets hot on top and inside. Never touch stuff I don't understand.

Having said that we've had sesame chicken from the Bamboo Wok at Berry a few times if we can't be bothered to drive to Rolling Oaks.

I love this thread. I love all of your answers!

I've been thinking what UK food I would want to eat if I were staying in a place over there. Hmmm. Twiglets! Those meat pie things! (pasties?) Sausage rolls! Jaffa cakes! Cadbury flake! And cheese and onion chips (oops sorry crisps).

I don't know any of your takeout places, but I'd be happy to try those too.
