Films you like...but others don't get (join in)

I'm sure we all have films we really like but others don't get. They may be blockbusters, turkeys or somewhere in between.

So what are yours? List as many as you like!

I'll start - Saving Mr. Banks - the story of how the film Mary Poppins got to be made, against all odds

Come on, join in.

Love seven brides for seven brothers, “bless her beautiful hide, wherever she may be. We ain’t met yet but I’m a-willing to bet, she’s the gal for me”

For me it has to be “Its a wonderful life” oh my I can not watch that with an audience as I cry like a baby at the end. 😭

Edit: forgot the Court Jester with Danny Kaye soooo funny.

A Beautiful Mind - story of John Nash the mathematician an intriguing film.

A star filled cast, a corker of a story, but because it is "a mathematician" very few will watch it.

This is so interesting reading these - so many I had forgotten about.

Another one I havent watched in years (i suspect it will reduce me to tears) is on golden pond for which I believe Henry Fonda got a posthumous oscar (may be wrong)
