Seems I have booked a similar package via a TA as yourself (Flights, hotel, DDP, Tickets etc).

I have seen on some official Disney posts that water parks will remain closed when the other parks open on the 15th July but how long for who knows but I cant see them opening up quickly due to the additional potential covid risks at pools/water parks etc

Appreciate if you can let me know how you get on with your TA as I am hoping I can get a full refund and then start again with rebooking once we know we will get the full experience considering we have paid "silly money" for our dream holiday!
Why not just contact your TA now? Then you’ll have an answer without having to wait for someone else to get a response and post on here.

I thought if this was the case then you would be eligible for a refund?
My insurance have already stated that they would not be covered for Covid….maybe my bad but I was looking more at the medical cover side of things when taking out the policy

I've already contacted... but like most people have said they are not giving much away. The objective of my post is to try find out if the removal of the DDP constitutes to a major change/or what outcome others are having!

I would think it does constitute a major change. If you had booked all inclusive or full board in for example Egypt to be then told no it's actually self catering with no self catering facilities, and no significant price reduction. Oh and the onsite water park is closed for your stay there would be uproar. You've booked a package including food and drink with an agent and your agent should be providing just that. Sadly I'm no legal specialist though 😟
Good luck with getting your holiday sorted.

The difference is if you book all inclusive or full board in Egypt you pay for the food. In this instance it's free dining, ie you're not paying for the food.

The food included is a major change whether it’s called free (which it isn’t) or not.

I would say it was. Did you book with Disney?

As a package (flights, tickets, DDP etc) with a well known travel agent.

The problem is that until Disney say what’s going to happen none of the TAs know either.

I'd say free dining could constitute a major change but all the T&C's I have seen would cover this. The water parks being closed I would say is irrelevant to the holiday booking as it's nothing to do with the accommodation so you are not losing a facility.
