Atlas V Rocket Launch:Sept 8 2016

Ok, arriving at Sanford 15.30.
Hoping to check in at LBV and then hotfoot it East, to view the launch from Pad 41.
Has anyone any tips for viewing places ?

Thanks, Already got these programmed, just didn't know which one was best for Pad 41.

heading out there in a bit too, going to port Canaveral to see the cruise ships leave then find somewhere to watch the launch

Try Jetty Park in Port Canaveral. You can do both things there.

It was clearly visible from Disney Springs, but very few people stopped to look.

Locals told me to head to Playalinda Beach for a great view of Pad 41.
We were later in than I anticipated & had initial problems with our sat nav.
We managed to tune in to a live radio link & saw it from the freeway.
I bet it was awesome closer by.
I knew we'd be cutting it fine, maybe next time
