Mobile Paying for electricity

Hi
When we have rented villas in Orlando everything apart from pool heat has usually been included in the villa rental price. This year we are going to Cape Coral and we pay for how much electricity we use I presume at the end of the holiday... Anyone have experience of this and is it usually a lot ? We usually do washing of clothes while there use dishwasher etc just wondered how much we need to account for

Thanks

The electric meter is usually at the side of the house and you can take a reading on arrival which should also be done by the owner/manager.
Electric usage will depend on the time of year and it will be much higher during the summer months due to to the A/C more than anything else.
If you are heading out in the winter months and have booked electric pool heat this will also bump it up.
That said I do not think it will be a vast amount at a very hazardous guess if you allow $150 that should more than cover it.
The washer/dryer and dishwaser won't use that much.
I assumed this practise had died a natural death a couple of years back. It used to be prevalent in some coastal areas because of the snowbirds who often rent for 3 months plus.
It is not something we have ever done I have to say but as said I don't think it will be a huge amount.
