Day Ten
This was our sole Disney Day and between 8am and 10pm we managed to do Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Epcot, a very tiring day!
We decided that our food for the day would be at the Food and Wine Festival so this is what we went for... Cheese Bread from Brazil. SO GOOD. I've not had this before but certainly will again later this year: Roast Bratwurst in a hard roll from Germany. This was nice but I would have preferred a soft roll, it was hard to eat! Apple Strudel with vanilla sauce from Germany. This was also nice, similar to what you get in Biergarten: Chocolate Baklava from Morrocco. This was lovely, but again, difficult to eat without getting messy! Beef Skewer with Chimichurri and Boniato Puree from Patagonia. This is my favourite dish from food and wine, I had it last year and was so happy when I saw they had the same thing this year: The Tipsy Laird from Scotland. This was OK. It wasn't really what I was expecting and was esentially a trifle: We had drinks too but I don't think I have photos of those. All in all, great evening, love the Food and Wine Festival. |

Day Eleven
This was our last full day in the USA, which we spent at the lovely Beach Club Resort. We had a pool day and then headed over to the Boardwalk in the afternoon which is a great place for a wander.
Stopped at the Boardwalk Bakery and shared the speciality cupcake which was Passion Fruit, Coconut and Lime. It was lovely but very sickly! We had a reservation at Sanaa for dinner. We had a lovely server who sat us next to the window where we had a great view of all the animals. We ordered the bread service which was AMAZING. Unfortunately, I must have been so fixated with it as I forgot to take a photo! As it was the last night, I treated myself to a cocktail which I think was called Starry Night. It had an ice cube in it which glowed and changed colour: For the mains we went for Tandoori Chicken: Braaivleis - South African Sample plate: Potjie Inspired. Butter Chicken and Paneer Tikka with pilaf: We were really impressed with this place, the prices, atmosphere and the food were all excellent. We would not hesitate to return. We headed back to the Boardwalk and picked up an Ice Cream from Ample Hills Creamery whilst we stood on the bridge to watch Illuminations. Great end to the holiday. Edited at 10:00 AM. |

Day Twelve
Travel day
As we were staying at the Beach Club, we went over to the neighbouring Yacht Club for breakfast at Captain's Grille. This was an all you can eat buffet which I think was around $24 each, which we found great value as the food was really good and the selection was great too. Here are a couple of plates: That's it for 2016. Thanks for reading and apologies for it taking so long for me to complete! |

Just catching up on all the food reports I've missed. Thanks for sharing all your fab pictures.
I wonder if it was my recommendation for Rosie 'O Grady's as I always rave about it lol. Either way, i'm glad you enjoyed it.
