I know it is not in Disney world but getting really excited about going to Aulani and seeing if it lives up to Disney's standards

We visited Aulani in 2012 and it was incredible. The location on the beach is breath taking. We loved watching the waves roll in at sunset. Monk Seals on the beach were a sight to behold.

Plenty to do. Pearl Harbor is a must. If you get the chance drive to Kualoa Ranch. The've shot more than 50 films there including Jurassic Park, Godzilla, Windtalkers, 50 First Dates to name a few.

We did the Lost Tour (as in the TV show) and my better half dragged me to the Hawaii Five O Head Quarters.

Diamond Head (an extinct volcano - at least that's what they told us) has some magnificent views once you've made the winding climb to the top.

We can't wait to go back, but it's a long way so we'd want to stay for at least 14 nights next time (preferably 17).
