Staying DVC at BCV and GFV -best places to eat offsite.
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for those not on DDP, staying at BCV for 7 nights and GFV for 6 nights. Booked via Daves DVC. Looking for restaurants not too far from Disney. Will have a few meals onsite but now thinking of hiring a car so want to know some off site places. Thanks in advance

You've got practically every chain in the USA within the same range of those locations, to be honest. What sort of food / budget do you have in mind? GF will involve a little more of a drive.

Thanks a Karen G. Don't really have a budget in mind but just wondering what area you would recommend for drinking to with restaurants. Looking on google maps I am thinking around West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway?
Just can't figure out where we should be heading to. We may even have a few nights where just eat or get a pizza takeaway.

We normally stay at the Boardwalk, and will head to Crossroads, or you can go out to the 192 near Animal Kingdom.
Traffic around the Disney Springs can be a bit busy, we usually leave WDW at World Centre Drive and then either hop on the I4 up to Crossroads, Or we might head to the Applebees at the far end of the 192 You can either go straight down and pick up the 192, or use the Sherbeth exit by Animal Kingdom. There's not a lot in it. Or we quite like the Loop (there are tolls on the osceola but it's an easy drive) - we go past Pop Century and along the Osceloa. We also like the area around the Super Target on the 192, there is a Dennys there and I like the craft shop, it's also not far from Walmart on the 535 and the Lake Buena Vista outlets. If we are going here, we take Epcot Centre Drive to the 535 and you arrive on the 192 right by Target, so you can avoid most of the traffic lights. |

we stayed at AKV and ate in the area behind it down Sherbeth Road
a fair few chains we loved Sweet tomato's, Chuey's and Millars ale house, just down the road ( 192 ) a little more was CiCi's, but as i said, loads of other chains same area has a super target and walmart infact even when we moved to our Marriott we headed in that direction after a day at disney, only due to the fact we knew the places, though we did find a different CiCi's and Sweet toms just a quick car trip from DS |

The Longhorn next to Olive Garden in front of Super Target on 192 used to be outstanding, but I haven't been in a while.

Too much choice
If you mean the one to the west of Formosa Gardens (near the junction with the 429) I'm pleased to report we had two great meals here in Jan I get my Targets and Super Targets mixed though so that may not be the same one! Annedawso I would also totally recommend Keke's breakfast club for really good breakfast / brunch. A dollar or so more than Denny's / IHOP etc but the food, settings and service were absolutely worth the extra.
