Feb 2017 DDP Food Report COMPLETE

After a morning at Hollywood Studios it was starting to get busy so we left the park and drove to Mall of Millenia with are target set for one thing only...

Cheesecake Factory

We didn't have too long to wait for a table which was better than we had anticipated.

We started with the delicious bread that is brought to us

Freddie wasn't feeling 100% so I said he could share my meal as I knew I wouldn't be able to eat it all. The server was happy to provide an extra plate and serving spoon for me to share it.

CHICKEN MARSALA AND MUSHROOMS
Chicken Breast Sauteed with Fresh Mushrooms in a Rich Marsala Wine Sauce. Served over Bow-Tie Pasta.

I have dreamed about this meal for so long and it was just as good as I remembered !

Kev I think had this:

SPICY CHICKEN CHIPOTLE PASTA
Honey Glazed Chicken, Asparagus, Red and Yellow Peppers, Peas, Garlic and Onion in a Spicy Chipotle Parmesan Cream Sauce.

His portion wasn't quite so huge as mine!

Tommy chose from the kids menu (as the portion sizes are so big!)

Pasta with Marinara Sauce

Although we were stuffed we had coupons for two slices of cheesecake so we chose

OREOŽ DREAM EXTREME CHEESECAKE
OREOŽ Cookies baked in our creamy Cheesecake with layers of fudge cake and OREOŽ Cookie mousse. Topped with a milk chocolate icing.

DULCE DE LECHE CARAMEL CHEESECAKE
Caramel Cheesecake Topped with Caramel Mousse and Almond Brickle on a Vanilla Crust.

We left so full but so happy as always it lives up to expectations and is always on our must do list

After an afternoon of shopping we were a bit unsure of what to do for dinner. We just wanted to go back to the hotel and relax (boys swim) but didn't really fancy any of the options at Geyser Point (missing Roaring Fork at this point as it was closed for renovations)

We decided to have a look at getting a pizza as we weren't hungry right now but knew we would be in an hour or so.

We called in at Giordano's. It was Sat night and very busy. It was about a 40 min wait if we ordered a pizza to take back with us or about an hour if we got one delivered so we ordered and paid for our delivery then drove back to Wilderness Lodge where the boys had a swim while we waited for the delivery. It worked well

CHEESY GARLIC BREAD
A House Favorite! Melted mix of four cheeses and herbs served with a side of our house-made marinara sauce

FRIED MOZZARELLA TRIANGLES
Lightly breaded, served with our house-made marinara sauce

Stuffed Deep Dish Medium with added chicken

This was all really nice. It's difficult to chose a pizza to share when you all like/dislike different things but we all agreed on chicken.

It was nice to relax in the room and eat pizza after a busy few days.

My boys would have found the frozen banana hilarious as well, boys will be boys eh?

Columbia Harbour House looks like a really good use of a QS credit for something different, think I will add it to my "must try" list!

I can't find the details of where we got these from but it was on the walk between Africa & Expedition Everest at a couple of little kiosks

These were all nice different snacks. Something different than we were used to eating. They were good to share and have a little of each between us.

Really tasty fries - nicer than the usual disney fries

This is a really good use of a snack credit as is easily big enough as a lunch
