What DVC resort and why?
As per title. If you could stay at any DVC resort where would you choose and why? Would be for 2 nights maybe kids will be 7 & 10.
Thanks

The Beach Club for me.
Best pool on property. You can walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Opposite the Boardwalk. Walking distance to mini golf. Crescent Lake is beautiful. |

I'd choose the Boardwalk for the cheap points cost and great location.
If cost not so much if an issue, I'd choose a monorail resort with kids. I fancy the Poly myself. |

Thank you, yes Poly looks lovely. I'd love to stay at the Beach club too. Do the villas feel detached from the resort?

At the beach club they are in a separate building (actually that's true in most of the DVC resorts with both hotel and DVC). But the DVC building at the Beach Club is only a few steps from the main building and very close to the food court/shop so it doesn't feel detached.

For us it would either be BLT- that closeness to Magic Kingdom or Villas at Wilderness Lodge now known as Boulder Ridge. Just love the setting.

If you want to focus on MK, I'd suggest BLT. The pool isn't that amazing though.
I'd choose BWV over BCV for the great value points wise (as Bev says) but if you just want a couple of pool days, it has to be BCV for the amazing pool.

We stopped our first night last year at The Contemporary. I loved walking into
MK on that first morning but the Hotel didn't wow me so not sure BLT would be for us. BC is a firm favourite due to location. It all comes down to where we'll spend the first few days before villa and availability. Thanks guys

If you're only there a couple of days I'd base the decision on location and what you plan on doing. If MK probably one of the monorail resorts, BLT you can walk there in minutes which is great but rooms are fairly small.
