Some great photos Ste. Maybe you didn't pay much attention to this but was there plenty for kids to do? My two would love the ice rink and kids pool area. Is there a slide in the kids pool? Were the evening shows child friendly? Sorry so many questions! Have been on DCL and sometimes think we have been spoilt on that and no other cruise line would live up to that for the kids!
Food looks fab! Jackie

Wow, brings back so many memories... Now where is day 3 :-)
There is no slide at the pool, but on the Freedom class ships there is a huge H2O zone with fountains, play areas etc. There is the ice rink, a climbing wall and even mini golf. TBH my sister didn't get involved in any of this, just met up with loads of other children her age, and hung out in the Childrens club, and went for Johnny Rocket burgers, and ben & jerry ice creams with her friends who she met on board. There was also an arcase area which I didn't see. There is also the flowrider which was very popular. I didn't have a go myself, but saw so many children try it out. You could easily waste a few hours here just watching. I know there were a few shows in the evening that were not suitable for children, but there were many more that were. You do not mention the age of your children - let me know and I can give you more info. Carolynn |
