Think I will aim for Whoopi Goldberg again, when I booked last year she was listed for Dec 2nd but the list changed a bit around Sept/Oct so we ended up with Geena Davis instead (who was lovely). I would love to hear Whoopi though. I would also like to see Edward James Olmos who is usually listed (I'm a Battlestar Galactica fan) so he might turn up as one of the TBAs.

This has thrown a spanner in the planning! Can anyone tell me how to book is it the usual ADR number? I take it there's 3 shows, which do people recommend.
What time does it go dark?We've never been at Christmas so all advice welcome.

It is the usual dine number, 001 407 939 3463. My preference is for the middle show at 6.45pm. It's not dark for approx the first half of the 5pm show and the later show doesn't really give you time to get back to the front of world showcase to the special viewing area for Illuminations.

You might not get your first choice of restaurant or time. We rang as soon as booking opened but it took 45 min of repeated ringing before we got through. By then we had to have a different time show and a different restaurant from what we had planned.

Didn't spoil a thing though, it was wonderful.

Looking back, it was pretty stupid of us to ask for Le Cellier on the Saturday with Whoopi Goldberg...!

We had already planned to so it on that day before we knew it was her.

In the end we got Zteppan Edo which we loved.

Just for another bit of info on the booking, I couldn't ring when booking opened for 2011 as I was driving to the airport - couldn't ring & drive & hadn't the time to pull in & wait. Booking was open nearly 3 hours before I had the time to ring. It took me about 10 mins to get through - initial rush over I suppose. We also wanted to go to Whoopi Goldberg on the Sat night (although I think Gill was for 2010) & I thought I hadn't a hope. Knowing this I had backups dates & restaurants ready. I was amazed that I got my first choice although I know that Garden Grill our choice wouldn't be one of the more popular choices. We chose it because I hadn't been there before & it had the bonus of being a character meal - turned out to be a great choice, the food was fab and Dale proposed marriage to me Of course 10 mins later he was flirting with another woman ... story of my life LOL

Thanks for your help, just one more question... when does booking open is it the usual time frame? We are looking to 26th - 30th December.

Oh and another thing do you pay a premium to get the package? And, this really ia the last thing, how have people gone on who haven't booked the package? was it a real scramble to get a seat?

I only ask this because we have done Fantasmic dining and just queued up with the throng, and I can honestly say that we had a better view the second time.

Booking normally opens late July,guests with the dinner package are seated first,as 2
lines are formed,about 15 minutes before the show opens the remaining seats are
opened up for the guests that have not had a dinner package.The shows always sell
out

When we came out of Teppan Edo the package queue wasn't very long but the regular queue stretched over to Italy - before the previous show had even finished!

We are only flying out on 25th so this looks like being one of the only Christmassey things going on. I don't want to miss out so I will most probably book. What's the cost?
