we have eaten twice in be our guest for lunch and once for dinner
dinner was in the ballroom and ambience was spectactular in the evening
first lunch was in the west wing
my daughters choice! shes beauty and the beast mad and insisted she sat near the beasts rose!
the west wing although dark is spectacular themed
the changing of the beasts shredded picture from prince to beast, the sound of thunder! i could go on its beautiful!
second lunch was in the ballroom and felt a bit chaotic if im honest
and very noisy! as there are so many people there!
my vote would be for the west wing 😍

We've been lucky enough to eat in all three rooms and the west wing was by far my favourite. Don't get me wrong, the snowy windows in the ballroom are lovely but the dark moody feeling in the west wing is fantastic. I loved the rose, the thunder and lightning and the changing portrait. Very very good atmosphere and setting.

i'm so excited to go to BOG!
we have breakfast and dinner booked
( dinner is first, followed by breakfast the following morning)

I have read that not all the rooms are open for breakfast.

So should I try to get the west wing for dinner maybe? if it's a bit less noisy / chaotic

and then I would imagine that we would have breakfast in the ballroom the next morning?

what are the benefits of pre-ording the meals in advance?
thanks

All the rooms are open for breakfast. I've found where I read about the Rose Gallery being closed, and it says:
"There are three themed dining rooms (seating more than 500 guests): the mysterious West Wing with the "enchanted rose"; the Rose Gallery with twirling, larger-than-life figures of Belle and Beast (only open during lunch); and the elegant Ballroom with domed ceiling, twinkling chandeliers and glimpses of softly falling snow outside. At this time you are not able to request a dining room preference."
So, it's clearly wrong!

I'm not sure pre-ordering is any advantage, other than the fact that if you're checking in at a busy time (ie after 8.30am) there'll be a queue at the terminals where you choose what you're going to have and by pre-ordering you can go straight to the 'tills'.

You can't choose where you sit for dinner. I guess you can ask the person who comes to seat you if it's possible to eat in the West Wing, but it's a very small section and chances are if you really want to sit in there you'll have to wait a lot longer.

we found pre-ordering saved us at least a half hour wait on the bridge in a line waiting to get in to order food!
the people had pre ordered were taken in straight away
