Crystal palace Excellent!

Went to Crystal Palace for breakfast yesterday and on the way in at main st my daughter got a badge with " it's my birthday"

Once inside CP we got our breakfast. Our server wished our daughter a happy birthday and asked how old she was. She said 13! The server said how wonderful to be having a birthday whilst here!

At the end of our breakfast our server appeared with a cake with a candle on and a card from all at hundred acre woods all individually signed ...

Well all I can say is how wonderful for them to do that for us and it had no extra cost involved. My daughter loved it, and so did we.

It made our daughters day very special.

It was only a cake but it's why Disney is Disney. It was a magical day for us!

The server also got a very good tip from us!

Most TS restaurants will present a little cupcake at the end of the meal for a birthday. I've got a couple of the birthday cards from CP and DD has one from Garden Grill. I also brought home a laminated autographed place mat from 1900 Park Fayre. If you're an adult, they'll often present something else that's special. I got a special plate at Boma with three truffles and a birthday candle on it. The trick is to let Disney know when you're booking that it's a special occasion.

Sometimes you get free items at CS restaurants as well, but that's less common these days.

We love Crystal Palace. Maybe it's because it's our tradition to eat there on the first morning, but it seems more "special" than the other buffet places
