Blue man or Cirque with 8 year old boy

Hi all
I would like to do something special with my 8 year old son while at Universal or Disney.
He is already doing the Starwars dessert party with his Dad and big brother.
Any suggestion and if we do a show which one would you recommend.
Many thanks

We did the Blue Man group with my 2 boys when they were 8 and 12 - they both loved it (well we all did!). Great fun and definitely appealed to their sense of humour!

Took my DS (9) to both in March and I've just asked him the question. He says he really enjoyed both: Blue Man was very funny and clever, Cirque had some amazing stunts and was quite inspiring.

If he could only see one again it would be blue man.

My sons, 8 & 4, both loved Blue Man. The only thing that stressed the younger one was when his mum got picked to go on stage and he thought she was being "stolen away" (his words)

Done both, did Cirque just last week when we were over there. I think both are amazing shows and if you had asked me which was better a week ago I would've said Blue man group but some of the stuff of Cirque du Soleil is just breathtaking... absolutely amazing so I'd probably say that is my favourite.

I think kids would enjoy both, if he prefers stuff a bit more wacky, loud music, just completely bonkers then probably Blue Man Group, if he's more into stunts, acrobatics, performers etc then maybe Cirque is the way to go. Both are very funny especially the clowns at Cirque du Soleil.
