Staying a night at AMI a good idea? Tips for places to stay please
Hi
We will be visiting AMI next November and originally were just planning a day trip. Would it be worth staying a night or possibly 2 at the end of the holiday instead? Also, I have read that people struggle to book for a night or two at AMI. Has anybody managed to do this and could recommend accomadation Thanks |

I am going in October and booked a single night at the Bridgewalk which is on AMI and close to Beach House restaurant and parasailing which we have booked for the morning. Bridgewalk also provide beach towels, chairs for beach and breakfast. Am planning to go to Busch gardens on way back via sunshine highway... husband doesn't likes heights ie drives on inside of QE2 bridge over Thames... ha ha I am so cruel 😱😱😜😜😂😂

We have done a 2 night stay in AMI with our base in Davenport and will be doing the same again in 3 weeks time. TBH we are all looking forward to this part of our holiday so much and part of that is because we know we will be staying in the same great place as last time. It's quite close to the earlier poster, across the road in fact from the Bridgewalk hotel. We stay at a smaller inn, the Island Time Inn on Bridge Street in Bradenton. It's lovely, not expensive and has a choice of sizes, we stay in room 7 which has 2 double bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room if you need it. The balcony is perfectly placed for watching the beach sunset and Bradenton is a quiet beach with lots to do in Bradenton.
Hope that's helpful!

Have a look at Air BnB too. We have 2 nights booked with them next May. The owners have already offered to take us out kayaking with them!

We're in AMI at the moment. I noticed that the Dream Inn allows daily rentals- it is right on the beach, so a good location.
