14 day UK ticket refund against Gold APs?

Just off the phone with the Passholder line and I'm now having to wait for my callback to buy new APs, 10-30 days apparently.

She said that we can buy tickets in the meantime, do our park reservations and they'll be refunded against our APs, but I completely forgot to ask if that includes the UK 14 day tickets or just US tickets, does anyone know?

Thanks

I'm not 100% sure but I think only US tickets would qualify because that way you would have a traceable purchase in the US ticket system.

I phoned them back to ask as couldn't find the answer anywhere, and she confirmed that yes, they would refund against the UK 14 day ticket.

I wonder if they’ll do that for a new DVC Gold AP ( if they come back)? Our 14 day tickets are from last year and expire 30th September. We are there early September and probably next May.

I'd assume that they would do if they are actually selling them again by then as they always have done, but i guess we just won't know until they do go on sale again.

Be, careful buying a UK ticket. They can only credit the wholesale rate of the ticket in the system and this will be less than you paid even if bought from Disney UK. You are better off getting a usa ticket direct from the USA wdw site that way you will get a full refund.

Thank you, we've decided to just wait for the AP call back, worst case scenario is 30 days and we're not going until October, plus we'd try to choose the quiet parks anyway, so not in a hurry to secure anything.
