If you don’t like queuing, get there early, use FPs wisely and most of all, go at a quieter time of year. Absolutely no need to buy two Ultimates!

We have never queued more than about 20 minutes for anything.

Some people really do have more money than they know what to do with.
If this colleague is a solo traveller would she not also be able to make use of single rider queues ? If they arrive at the park early and do a bit of planning they really shouldn’t need to waste money on two tickets.

I wouldn’t pay an extra £450 to get on rides, would use it for something more beneficial but if they want to it’s up to them, also who knows when FP will become available again.
Get to parks early you’ve more chance of doing popular rides then without using your FP for them

Think the idea is bonkers. Dont like queuing - get to the parks early - use the single rider queue. You can go back to the same park if you leave it during the day. Linking a second pass onto your MDE would prove difficult I fear. Once you have used your 3 pre booked fast passes you can make an additional one then when that is used another one.

What would happen if they rollout the facial recognition? Two separate MDE accounts wouldn't work then.

I personally think it's bonkers. Spend the money on some tours or special events instead. Getting there early and then scheduling fastpasses for an hour later(then booking the next fastpass once you've entered the queue for the last of your first three, then repeat) has always meant we have done everything multiple times and never waited longer than 20minutes.

Good points on single rider queues.
However the main reason I think is because of the tier 1 rides that you would never get a FP on the day and queuing is often around an hour. So the 2 ticket idea would allow them to ride the main rides a few times each.

For me personally its a lot of extra money, but for them, they are seeing it as an expensive holiday so they want to ride the big rides at least a few times.

I would imagine they could use the same MDE account for both, but use an alias as the second guest, ie Mike instead of Michael or their middle name. This would be no different than going with someone else, just in this case the second person will be them. Or they just pretend they have an identical twin.

Facial recognition would be for identification purposes on your own account, I doubt they will do facial comparisons between every single account on their system.
