Halt and Catch Fire.

All four seasons of Halt and Catch Fire are up on Netflix.

It's about the birth of the internet and computers.

A fabulous drama with superb talent. I watched a couple of series on Amazon and bought the rest on DVD over several years.

I'm now going back in to binge watch the whole thing. I bought a new laptop over the weekend that will allow me to watch in the best possible quality that I can afford.

Quick edit: It's still on Amazon! I'm so sorry!

I did this last week I watched half of Made in Italy with Liam Neeson which I loved and when I went back to Netflix to watch the rest of it, gone.

My daughter later pointed out when I grizzled about it that it was on Amazon and called me a plonker to boot, lol.

ooh, its back on netflix? i think it was on amazon prime video up till recently. might have to do a full rewatch, not seen it all since the final season aired on tv originally

absolutely love the show. its one of the most underrated shows ever made. fo me, its up there with the wire, breaking bad/better call saul in terms of greatness. lee pace's eyebrows should get a show of their own!

was a fan of lee pace from his days as the piemaker in pushing daisies, but discovered kerry bishe and mackenzie davies in HACF, and theyve both gone on to do some great stuff afterwards too

if youre put off this show because its "all about computers", please don't be. the computer stuff is just the background - its all about the characters and their interactions. but each season takes a different era as the backdrop, so it starts out kinda like apple did in a garage in the 70's/80's and moves on to the networked/internet era of things as it progresses. as a geek i find it all fascinating (its not REAL though, but the influences of other companies is obvious when you know this stuff)...

tl;dr: WATCH THIS SHOW, ITS AMAZING!

No, SORRY, my mistake, it's still there on Amazon

I watched the first episode free of charge and I don't even know how I managed that. I still have a sneaking suspicion it was on Netflix but I can't find it.

I think I popped over to my alternative reality where I can do pretty much as I want with no repercussions.

I found it! Netflix.com for free.

My VPN must have switched from UK to US. It's a good find, though.
