Nomadland - it was ok but not amazing. I felt it slightly romanticised the topic, particularly in terms of safety and the on toe road work. But worth a watch if not only to encourage us to retire early!

Just watched ‘The Boy’ and we all really enjoyed it. An interesting twist near the end made us go ‘aaaah right, that why they did that’. A few jumpy moments that made my daughter nearly throw her drink in the air and my husband swear lol.

Wish it had been Mitchells vs the machines that we watched on Friday night - really good - but it was some Tom Clancy thing called Without Remorse which was c***, sorry! Love his books but this one was 2 hours I will never get back

Watched ‘things seen and heard’ I think that’s what it’s called on Netflix. Usual horror thriller type but as these go I thought it was ok. Had a bit of an odd ending..

A fitting film to watch during mental health week is evelynmovie

I recorded it a few years ago & just clearing some space on my recorder! I recorded it due to it being a walking film but it's so much more. Its about a family who's brother killed himself 13 years before but they really haven't talked about it.
So 1 of the brothers decided that they should make this film whilst walking some of the walks they did as a family.

Very moving & thought provoking. Just shows how we all need to talk about what's effecting us

The Sweeney (2012 - Netflix) with Ray Wintone, Hayley Atwell

Worth a watch if you're into a bit of "trash" and cockney thuggery... Definitely a good Friday night, beer and a pizza kinda movie.
Not one that needs to be taken seriously or concentrated on too much either. Perfect!
