We watched the first 4 episodes last night, and we both thought it was brilliant. I’m dreading episode 5 from what everyone on here has been saying 😳

I was enjoying the first episode but lost interest after the second, thought the supernatural bits were stupid & I also fast forwarded episode 9 after a few minutes, episode 5 was awful though

We finished it last night. I’m a 50/50 on it. I did American history at 6th form, and have a huge interest in the civil rights movements etc and think this had the potential to really go into depth about that era. But I didn’t think the supernatural element was needed, they could have done so much more with the story. We know these sort of covenants were part of those times, why the devil needed to be included is anyone’s guess! The lead actors, what a testament to to British acting. And the girls? They were fantastic! Edited at 11:10 AM. |
