BA phone lines very busy

I tried to phone BA yesterday to change a flight, tried the general number twice and got cut off with message saying very bust due to closing the Indian call centre because of CV.

I then tried the Silver Exec number and got through after a 50minute wait. Nice guy who said they are very busy.

So be prepared for a long wait.

I�ve got through quite quickly on online chat the past two days to upgrade flights and change accommodation options. If it�s a holiday booking though you do sometimes get through to a flight only agent who can�t help you - seems to be at peak times when all holiday agents are on the phone. I got through instantly on live chat though at 8am this morning when they opened.
